About Venue
SVNS Stadium was built in 2008. SVNS International Cricket Stadium is one of India’s most modern cricket stadiums. The first major competition at this ground was in 2010 when the Canadian national team played a one-day match against Chhattisgarh.
The stadium was then introduced to the IPL in 2013 when it was selected as the second home venue for Delhi Daredevils. After that, in 2014, some matches of the IPL season were played here. However, after that, the stadium was not very busy because people could not host any international matches due to morning elections and subsequent rescheduling.
